New Scientist — Alec LuhnNew Scientist spoke to Michel Tsamados and me about our work at UCL modelling how the ice arches in the Nares Strait, between Greenland and Ellesmere Island, break up — and whether thickening them could keep sea ice locked in the Arctic Ocean for longer. I described the idea as adding “some cement between the pieces of the arch”.
